A new Hornet announced in 2022 for 2023
The name Hornet resonates particularly with bikers, especially for Honda motorcycle enthusiasts.
From its birth in the second half of the 90s to its famous review in 2007, this light, agile and energetic motorcycle has delighted a varied audience, from young drivers to more experienced riders, for road and sport use.
The return of the famous hornet therefore generates expectations, like any mythical name that resurfaces. No worries, however, about the quality and the care given to such a project : recently, Honda was able to honor another name : the Africa Twin which had a successful reboot by adapting very well for new uses and the technological and technical modernity expected for a top-of-the-range trail.
Everything suggests that history will repeat itself and that the 2022/2023 version of the Hornet will be a successful motorcycle.
A 750cc twin-cylinder
We still know little about its design but enough to establish a sketch of it :
- A 750cm3 twin-cylinder engine whose architecture is close to the CRF1100 (Africa Twin from 2020)
- A relatively compact motorcycle with sharp lines with a headlight with a look that is undoubtedly more futuristic than the round optics that equip the Neo Sports Cafe range of the brand
We will soon know more about the technical specifications and design elements as well as the release date and price of the new Hornet 750.
